These include 6 units of hand tractors, 24 units of floating tillers, 3 units of walk-behind transplanters, 4 units of riding-type transplanters, 3 units of precision rice seeders, 11 units of rice reaper, 10 units of rice combine harvesters, 12 units of the recirculating dryer (6-tonner), and 1 unit of single pass rice mill.
The machinery grants are expected to benefit farmers from the 12 municipalities in Bohol and adjacent towns.
Meanwhile, as an initiative to strengthen the access of rice farmers to information on the RCEF program and on mechanization, info hubs were established. Four of these received smart TVs which can be used in conducting knowledge-sharing and learning activities in the info hub.
These FCA models include the Danao Agrarian Reform Cooperative, Cansumbol Multi-Purpose Cooperative, Bicao Small Multi-Purpose Cooperative, and the Trinidad Multi-Purpose Cooperative.
