Department of Agriculture-Philippine Rice Research Institute (DA-PhilRice) Isabela’s Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund (RCEF) Program started its 2022 WS Midyear Review last July 13 at the PhilRice station in the City of Batac, Ilocos Norte.

Bethzaida Catudan, RCEF Coordinator of PhilRice Batac, welcomed the participants. She also shared the best practices of the RCEF Batac Unit in the cross-learning session.

“We are here to polish our output and take the observations and suggestions constructively. Let’s work and enjoy.” Joy Bartolome Duldulao, OIC-Director of Isabela, emphasized during the first day. For the second day, teambuilding activities will be conducted.

RCEF regional and provincial coordinators of the station presented their seed delivery and distribution progress reports. Also, accomplishment and updates of PalaySikatan Techno Demo and Extension Program were presented and discussed. Action plans for issues and concerns were laid out.
