Thirty-four Agriculture Extension Workers, Local Farmer Technicians and Farm School Representatives from Ilocos Norte and Ilocos Sur recently completed the Training of Trainers (TOT) on Production of High-Quality Inbred Rice and Seeds and Farm Mechanization under the Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund-Rice Extension Services Program.
The participants hurdled the 10-day intensive training facilitated by the PhilRice Batac RCEF Training Management Team.
The training aimed to improve the knowledge and skills of trainers on modern production of high-quality inbred rice and seeds and to equip them with the necessary skills needed in training the farmers and other trainers. (DA PhilRice Batac, FB)
