𝐍𝐮𝐞𝐯𝐚 𝐕𝐢𝐳𝐜𝐚𝐲𝐚 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐦𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬
 
PHilMech has distributed a total of 37 units of agricultural machines costing up to Php84.58 million under the Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund (RCEF) Mechanization Program during the Provincial Turnover held in Bagabag, Nueva Vizcaya on March 1, 2024.
 
Machines include 12 units of four-wheel tractors, 11 units of recirculating dryers, nine rice combine harvesters, three walk-behind transplanters, and two riding type transplanters.
 
Benefitting from this distribution are 24 Farmers Cooperative and Association (FCAs) from 10 municipalities of Nueva Vizcaya namely Aritao, Bagabag, Bambang, Bayombong, Dupax del Norte, Dupax del Sur, Kasibu, Quezon, Santa Fe, and Solano.
 
The activity was graced with the presence of PHilMech FMFOD Chief Engr. Mayville B. Castro, Nueva Vizcaya Governor representative Hon. Patricio Dumlao Jr., Bagabag Mayor representative Chik Afan, RTD for Operation and Extension of DA-RFO2 Dr. Roberto D. Busania, Congresswoman of the Lone District of Nueva Vizcaya Hon. Luisa L. Cuaresma, Sen. Cynthia Villar’s representative Ms. Marilyn G. Ansing, and Provincial Agriculturist Absalon Baysa.
 
As of today, Nueva Vizcaya has received Php466 million worth of agricultural machinery and postharvest facilities from the program benefitting a total of 170 FCAs and LGUs in the province. (FB, DA-PhilMech, March 1, 2024)
