Ngayon meron na naman kaming matatangap na four-wheel tractor, siguradong mas mapapadali ang aming land preparation at mas mabibigyan namin ng machinery services ang aming mga miyembro dahil dito na rin sa aming IA sila magpapa-rotovate,” said Ronald Racoma, President of Coronon Creek Irrigators Association (IA) in hope to serve more members through RCEF land preparation machines.

Racoma’s IA is one of the 21 farmers’ cooperatives and associations (FCAs) that received Php 48.3 million worth of four-wheel tractors from the RCEF Mechanization Program in Agusan del Sur during a turnover ceremony held on August 12.

FCAs from Bayugan City, Esperanza, Prosperidad, San Luis, Talacogon, Bunawan, La Paz, Loreto, San Francisco, Sta. Josefa, and Veruela are among the qualified beneficiaries.

Governor Santiago Cane, APCO Chief June Anthony Ouano, Mayor Symond O. Caguiat of Sta. Josefa, PHilMech staff, Provincial Agriculturist Armando Valiente, and other partner agencies were in attendance to witness the said event. (FB, DA-PhilMech, August 13, 2024)
