Just a month after the kick-off ceremonies of the RCEF Seed Delivery and Distribution for wet season 2023, the program has distributed 90,919 bags of certified inbred rice seeds in Region 12, and BARMM.This represents almost 33% of the total allocation for these regions, benefiting 9,782 farmers and covering 11,521 hectares of rice fields. 
NSIC Rc 442, Rc 510, Rc 402, Rc 222, Rc 438, Rc 506, Rc 400, Rc 216, and Rc 160 were carefully selected for their quality and suitability for the local farming conditions before distribution.
As we approach the peak of the planting season in these areas, we’re excited to see farmers start sowing these high-quality seeds and reap the benefits of the RCEF program.
