1,696 RICE FARMERS IN LABANGAN, RECEIVED AID UNDER THE RCEF PROGRAM AT DA
1,696 farmers from Labangan, Zamboanga del Sur RECEIVED financial assistance under the Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Program of the Department of Agriculture on Thursday, May 11, 2023 at the City’s Functional Hall.

Led by USSC Super Service Center Team and DA-9 Regional Director Dennis R. Arpia will distribute P5,000 cash assistance to rice farmers who occupy 0.5 to 2 hectares of land.

Gov. Victor J. personally attended the event Yu and Cong. Divine Grace C. Yu with Mayor Eduardo Relacion briefly delivered their message of encouragement to the farmers to avail the agricultural programs under the current administration.

The beneficiaries also thanked President Bongbong Marcos Jr. for the aid and the Yu couple for partnering with the national government to facilitate the program to the farmers.
