DA-PhilRice Isabela is now officially partnered with Casili Dam Farmers Irrigators Association (CADAMFIA) and 53 farmer-partners in the implementation of PalaySikatan 2.0, through a Letter of Agreement signing that happened today in Mallig, Isabela.

The 53 farmer-partners manage the 50-hectare demo farm of PalaySikatan in the municipality through the CADAMFIA led by Domingo Joson, the association president.

PalaySikatan is a project under Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund (RCEF) Seed program that showcases the benefits of different recommended rice varieties and machinery through demo farms.

Meanwhile, pest and nutrient management were discussed through knowledge sharing and learning session that will help them manage their rice farms. (FB, DA-PhilRice Isabela, July 2, 2024)
