PHilMech has signed a memorandum of agreement (MOA) with the Pangasinan Organic Seed Growers and Nursery Multipurpose Cooperative, one of the identified farmers’ cooperatives and associations (FCA) beneficiary, for the establishment of a Rice Processing System (RPS) 2 under the Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund (RCEF) Mechanization Program, held today, November 13, in Brgy. Matolong, Manaoag.
The RPS 2, worth around Php60 million, includes two units of recirculating dryer with 12 tons drying capacity per batch and one unit of multi-pass rice mill with 2-3 tons milling capacity per hour.
The MOA signing was led by PHilMech Director III Joel V. Dator and FCA Chair Nelson Domingo, with PHilMech FMFOD Assistant Chief Engr. Domingo R. Miranda, Municipal Agriculturist Arnold E. Geronimo, and FCA Board of Director Danilo M. Arenas as witnesses.
