Farm Visit of the Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund (RCEF) TOT on Farm Business School Participants at Paglinawan Organic Eco Farm, Dumingag, Zamboanga del Sur.

As part of the 10-day RCEF Training of Trainers on Farm Business School, participants visited the Paglinawan Organic Eco Farm in Dumingag, Zamboanga del Sur. This experience aimed to reinforce the concept of farming as a business.

This training program seeks to create a pool of trainers who will help rice farmers boost productivity and income by promoting a business mindset. The trainers are expected to gain essential Farm Business School knowledge and skills to share in their localities.

The Paglinawan Organic Eco Farm, owned by Hon. Gerry Paglinawan and family, showcases various enterprises including coffee blends, different organically grown rice varieties, and farm-to-table dining. The farm manager Ms. Christies Paglinawan welcomed the group with a brief orientation and samples of their unique products.

Moreover, Mr. Gerry Paglinawan shared his humble journey and valuable industry insights to the group. The participants also had a quick tour in their 10-hectare property, observing diverse crops and livestock.
