PHilMech, through its intensified campaign on the adoption of crop establishment technologies among the RCEF beneficiaries, has conducted a technology demonstration of the riding-type and walk-behind transplanters held on June 27, in Asuncion, Davao del Norte.

This techno-demo is part of the campaign dubbed β€œMakinaryang Pantanim: Push na β€˜yan sa Palayan!” which is a collaborative project of the extension and operations clusters of PHilMech.

It aims to increase the interest of the farmers to try and adopt the crop establishment technologies under the Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund (RCEF) Mechanization Program and help increase the utilization rate of the said technologies for those who have already received the machine.

Participants of the demo are composed of FCA recipients from Davao del Sur, Davao del Norte, Davao de Oro, and Davao Oriental, who signed up for the next level of the campaign during the advocacy campaign activity conducted in Tagum City.

The Technology Management and Training Division (TMTD) of PHilMech led the demonstration activities. (FB, DA-PHilMech)
