1,206 farmers from Natonin and Paracelis, Mt. Province will receive their Php5,000.00 cash assistance under the Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund Rice Farmers Financial Assistance Program FY 2022 today, November 30, 2022.
Regional Rice Program Coodinator Edwin Joseph Franco explained the guidelines and background of the financial assistance to the participants and earnestly warned them to avoid creating problem such as attempting to double claim.
While the now seated Mayor Marcos Ayangwa said “Let’s go down to the level of our farmers and see what really is needed and in what way will they be more benefitted. Agsubli tayo ti farmlands tayo ta pakanen tayo ti nasyon.”
He emphasized that the LGU will continuely support the agriculture sector.
The activity is in partnership with the USSC, Local Government Unit and PNP. (FB, Da-Car)
