#ATICentralLuzon successfully completed the first batch of the Training of Trainers on Digital Agriculture Course for Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund (RCEF) at Duran Farm, San Ildefonso, Bulacan on April 23 – 26, 2024.

Total of 21 farmers and youth from different Learning Sites for Agriculture (LSA) in region 3 attended and actively participated the said training.

The 21 participants were trained to use mobile agricultural applications, e-extension, and e-commerce.

The trainers were welcomed by Ms. Desiree Duran, LSA Cooperator of Duran Farm who extended her gratitude to ATI Central Luzon for their unwavering support and trust they giving to the farm as their extension provider.

In addition, the training was attended by the resource persons from ATI-CL namely: Mr. Kent Edward S. Ballesteros, Media Production Specialist II, Ms. Lily Dela Cruz, Agriculturist II and Climate Change Point Person, Ms. Meamette Y. Rosario, Technical Support Staff IV and Information Officer/, and the Project Officer and Technical Support Staff IV, Mr. John Patrick S. Gutierez.

Senator Villar also conveyed her message to the participants through a video message and with the presence of Ms. Emy De Jesus, representative from the Office of Senator Villar.

Moreover, the TOT on Digital Agricultural Course – Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund (DAC4RCEF) was designed to train the farmers to be digitally literate.

The training ended with the awarding of certificate of completion to the participants and awarding of special awards.

The next batch of the DAC4RCEF will be concluded on May 27 – 30, 2024 at Merryland Farm, Pulilan, Bulacan. (FB, ATI Central Luzon)
