On November 8, 2023, a momentous occasion unfolded in Brgy. Old Paguiruan, Floridablanca, Pampanga, as Legaspi Agri Trading, led by its owner, Mr. Archilito Legaspi, was honored with the Learning Site for Agriculture under the Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund Certificate by the Agricultural Training Institute – Central Luzon.

The morning event was graced by distinguished guests, including Brgy. Captain Raquiel Garcia, Mr. Christian Sagad from the office of the Vice Mayor Mike Galang of Floridablanca, the Municipal Agriculturist, Ms. Myrna De Vera, Ms. Mabel Esguerra from the office of Senator Villar, and the Local Government Unit of Floridablanca. Notably, the Cabalen Eagles Club, represented by Mr. James Selaznog, was also in attendance.

The program commenced with an uplifting opening ceremony, offering a moment of reflection through prayer. Following this, the audience was welcomed with an inspiring address by the Barangay Captain, complemented by heartfelt greetings and messages from Mr. Christian Sagad and the Municipal Agriculturist of Floridablanca.

A brief discussion followed, shedding light on the Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund for Learning Sites for Agriculture (RCEF-LSA), with invaluable insights shared by Mr. Jayson S. Baldoz, a Technical Staff from ATI-Central Luzon.

The highlight of the day was the official awarding of the certificate, a banner, and a bank check (as financial support to the RCEF-LSA) to Legaspi Agri Trading. This moment was graced by the esteemed guests and the beaming awardee, Mr. Legaspi.

Mr. Legaspi, took the stage to express his gratitude and share his vision to become a farm school that will cater to local farmers and youth as the proud recipient of this honor.

The event concluded with a message from Engr. Joey A. Belarmino, Center Director of ATI-Central Luzon, who encapsulated the significance of the day and its long-lasting impact.

The day was immortalized through a joyous photo session, capturing cherished memories shared by all the awardees, guests, and dedicated organizers.

To ensure a seamless process, an orientation on the financial grant’s liquidation was conducted by Jan Limuel C. Guevarra, an Administrative Staff from ATI Central Luzon, ensuring accountability and transparency in the utilization of the grant.
