PHilMech distributes machines in Isabela

The Philippine Center for Postharvest Development and Mechanization (PHilMech) once again joined the Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair (BPSF) for the distribution of RCEF machines worth Php17.6 million, held on November 25, 2023, at Isabela National High School in Ilagan City, Isabela.
The said service fair brought together 36 government agencies offering various services in agriculture, education, health, and livelihood programs. Its primary aim was to make these government programs accessible to the farmers and residents of Isabela.

Among the recipients of the production machines and postharvest facilities are the Farmers of Luna Agriculture Cooperative, Barangay Cabannungan Farmers Association, Holy Trinity Agro-Forestry Multi-Purpose, Binhi Irrigators’ Association, Inc., and Esperanza Multi-Purpose Cooperative. They have all formalized their commitment by signing a memorandum of agreement (MOA) with PHilMech.

Additionally, more than 200 set of information, education and communication materials on PHilMech generated technologies, the RCEF Mechanization Program, Rice Processing System, and Coconut Farmers and Industry Development Plan (CFIDP) were disseminated.

The Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair underscores the government’s commitment to creating a progressive and inclusive environment, enabling citizens to actively engage with and benefit from programs designed to uplift their lives.
