Bukidnon FCA receives RCEF technologies

Rice farmers of Bukidnon are set for a massive boost with the 50 farmers’ cooperatives and associations (FCAs) becoming the latest recipients of rice technologies under the Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund (RCEF) during the two-day Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair (BPSF) at Bukidnon State University on November 11-12, 2023.

Out of the 50 FCA beneficiaries, representatives of five FCAs were present during the turnover, namely, the Lumintao Farmers Multi-Purpose Cooperative, Capinonan Irrigators Association, Inc., Greenfields SN Multi-Purpose Cooperative, Mailag San Carlos Bagontaas Irrigators Association, and the Provincial Local Government Unit of Bukidnon.

The 50 FCAs will receive 94 rice technologies such as four-wheel drive tractors, combine harvesters, mobile dryers, and a rice processing system.

The BPSF Bukidnon-leg has gathered 58 national government agencies to offer 170 services worth over Php 389 million to approximately 110,000 Bukidnon residents who have registered for the two-day event.

House Speaker Martin Romualdez, Bukidnon Governor Rogelio Neil Roque, Bukidnon Vice Governor Rogelio Narvasa Quiño, 2nd District Representative of Bukidnon Atty. Jonathan Keith Flores, PHilMech Director III Joel V. Dator, PHilMech FMFOD Chief Engr. May Ville Castro, Mindanao A Cluster Head Engr. Edgar Testa and staff, Davao Region Members of Congress, and other partner agencies were present to show their support for the event.
