Para kay Abelino Borres, 59, mag-uuma sa Monkayo, Davao de Oro, maayo ang gihatag nga semilya sa PhilRice kay taas ang abot sa humay.
Samtang si Viel Estomo, mag-uuma gikan sa Compostela nga naka tambong sa PalaySikatan sa una nga higayon, high yielding ang NSIC Rc 506 nga variety sa inbred seeds. Dugang niya,”gusto nako ipabasa sa akong bana nga wala naka attend diri ang mga basahon nga nadawatan karon“.

Compared to the previous PalaySikatan which is only six hectares, PalaySiktan 2.0 performs 21 hectares of rice fields using certified inbred seeds and innovative technologies to help increase the reach of our farmers.
For Abelino Borres, 59, a farmer in Monkayo, Davao de Oro, PhilRice’s semen was given well because the rice yield is high.
While Viel Estomo, a farmer from Compostela who attended PalaySikatan for the first time, high yielding NSIC Rc 506 variety of inbred seeds. She added, “I want my husband to read the books he received today’s absence”.
Two farmers said they would be testing the drone seeder, ending up being introduced to the activity. On to the next plant, their is a good and innovative method of planting and applying fertilizers.
PalaySikatan 2.0 is the technology demonstration of RCEF held in Compostela, Davao de Oro. We will have more activities like this in the coming cropping season, ka-palay! See you there!
