“Kung kayo ay established o mauunlad nang FCAs, dapat towards postharvest na rin kayo. Dapat ay may dryer o rice mill na kayo, o combination nito. Sana makumpleto natin sa tulong ng RCEF,” urged PHilMech Director III Joel V. Dator as he opens the Training Workshop on Farm Machinery Operation, Management, and Enterprise Development yesterday, July 31 in PHilMech.

“Hindi pa naman kayo huli, dahil phase one palang ito. Hopefully, sa 2025 ito po ay magtuloy-tuloy na (phase two). Ibig sabihin patuloy pa rin ang PHilMech sa pamimigay ng mga makinarya para sa inyo,” he reassures the farmers.

The workshop aims to equip the farmers’ cooperatives and associations with essential knowledge and skills to prepare operational plans for effective and sustainable management of farm machinery operations, specifically through farm machinery service provision.

It will cover various topics including the concept of farm machinery enterprises, the roles of FCAs in achieving program goals, and strategies for sustaining farm machinery service provision.
“Inaasahan po namin na kung ano man po ang maibabahagi sa inyo ng PHilMech at matututunan dito ay magampanan ninyo ng maayos para sa ikauunlad ng inyong samahan,” Dir. Dator concluded.
