The last stop for the distribution of t he High Quality inbred Seeds under the Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund (RCEF), Philippine Rice Research Institute (PhilRice), & The Rice Resiliency project for the Wet Season of 2022.
The office of the Municipal Agriculturist staff led by Mr. Marlon R. Magbiro, Municipal Agriculturist, distributed 368 bags of High Quality inbred seeds to the 299 Registration System for Basic Sector in Agriculture (RSBSA) registered rice farmers of Barangay Jugas.
The 368 bags of seeds were delivered via truck of the local government unit of the municipality of New Washington headed by municipal mayor Hon. Jessica R. Panambo. The program was successful with the help of the barangay council, led by barangay captain, Hon. Thelma Proton; and the Jugasnon Farmers Association, headed by Mr. Marlon T. Jimenez.
