DA-PHilMech trained 11 farmers’ cooperatives and associations (FCAs) and three local government units (LGUs) from Regions 11, 13, and BARMM during the Orientation-Planning Workshop on the Preparation of Feasibility Studies (FS) for the Establishment of Rice Processing System (RPS) held on March 29-30, 2023, in Tagum City, Davao del Norte.

A total of 30 participants (12 women and 18 men) were equipped with skills in crafting the FS covering its technical, marketing, organization and management, and financial and socio-economic aspects.

Two other workshops have already been conducted this year, previously in Lanao del Norte and Iloilo City through PHilMech Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund (RCEF) Program Management Office (PMO). (FB, DA-PHilMech)
