Eastern Visayas is one of the top performing regions nationwide in the Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund (RCEF) Seed Program implementation during the 2023 dry season.

 

Western Samar and Southern Leyte was recognized as two of the top three best performing provinces in Visayas Island.

 

Meanwhile, Naval (Biliran), Hinundayan (Southern Leyte), and Basey (Western Samar) was hailed as the top three best performing LGUs.

 

DA-PhilRice Bicol also commended Dax Gabriel Morfe (Regional Seed Coordinator), Uldarico Amihan (Chief, BPI-NSQCS), DA-Regional Field Office VIII, BPI-NSQCS 8, and all P/LGU partners for their significant contribution in providing excellent public service to the rice farmers in their respective areas.
